Description
The Dong Ding oolong is perhaps the most famous tea from the island of Taiwan. The mountain peak tea gardens are situated near the village of Lugu, Nantou County. The fermentation of the leaves is quite high, reaching about 25%. The plucking of raw materials and the subsequent processing are made entirely by hand. One can spend a whole evening catching the different notes in the aroma of the infusion and the wet leaves. Its flavour is full-bodied, sweet, with a long fresh aftertaste, reminiscent of good white wine.
