Description
Widely known as Lapsang Souchong, this red tea is distinct from all other types of tea because lapsang leaves are traditionally smoke-dried over pinewood fires, taking on a distinctive smoky flavour.
When brewed, Lishan Xiao Zhong yields a clear, deep red-brown infusion with a sweet smoky aroma, and an aftertaste reminiscent of guiyuan (dried longan fruit) and honey dates.
Lishan Xiao Zhong is excellent with fish, meat, spicy dishes, as well as cheese.
Best brewed at 100°C, up to 3 times.
