Description
This slightly fermented oolong tea, twisted into tips, is grown in the Anxi County in southern Fujian province. These places are mountainous, wooded and often shrouded in fog, which promotes the growth of great quality raw tea. This Anxi variety is light, sparkling, with a strong floral aroma, sweet taste and a long fresh aftertaste, reminiscent of iron.
The are different grades available depending on the quality of raw leaves (the number of stems in twisting, seasonality, size of leaves, height of growth, etc.). The taste and aroma are refined with this graduation.
