Description
Golden Daylily Milk Oolong is a semi-fermented tea grown in the Anxi county in Fujian province.
This tea is made from fresh leaves, processed so that their cells are only destroyed on the edges, leaving the core of the leaf unchanged. The tightly-twisted leaves, thick and strong, are sprayed with pineapple juice in the process of drying, which gives the tea a creamy taste and aroma.
Nai Xiang Jin Xuan gives a golden-red brew with a very mild, light and flowery taste, sometimes referred to milk.
Milk Oolong is known to quench thirst, strengthen teeth, invigorate, prevent tumour formation, prevent thrombophlebitis, and promote weight loss.
Best brewed at 100°C for 3 to 5 times.
